About our Chapter

Currently the Monterey Bay Chapter has 218 members providing hands-on volunteer service for 25 philanthropic organizations in the community and contributes over 6,000 hours to our local community each year.

Twice a year our Chapter comes together as a whole to focus on our local philanthropies:  Philanthropy Day is traditionally held in October and National Philanthropy Initiative Day in January.  We begin both of these days with a joint Patroness and Ticktocker meeting, followed by a guest speaker and then mothers and daughters work together at Philanthropy stations provided to experience and serve as many of our philanthropies as possible.

Other annual events are the Mother ~ Daughter Tea held each fall and the Senior Luncheon held in the spring recognizing the graduating senior Ticktocker class.
